To get started with JBA services, you must register via JobMap. You can register on your own online or you can go to any JBA location to get assistance with registration.

JobMap is your portal to access Job & Business Academy information & services online. It’s easy to use and all you need is your Queens Library card number and pin to get started.

After you answer a series of questions, you will receive a list of service recommendations specifically tailored to meet your needs.  Once you have your recommended services, you will be able to:

  • Register for job search workshops and computer training classes
  • Keep track of the workshops and classes you’ve taken
  • See schedules for individual consultations at JBA libraries
  • Message JBA staff with questions
  • Get your resume reviewed online
  • Access the Job & Business Academy's presentations, handouts and other materials
  • Recommended job search websites
  • Store your job search documents
