How to Save Yourself From a Heart Attack

Would you like to know how to improve your heart health and have a better quality of life? All over the world, the most common cause of death is a heart attack. A heart attack takes the life of more than 1.5 million people each year in the United States. Dr. Xuming Dai, an interventional cardiologist, will explain how to avoid a heart attack by paying close attention to certain risk factors.

Alzheimer’s Support Group (in Chinese)

Welcome to Coping Skills Informational Workshops

New Americans Program offers Copings Skills workshops: lectures and workshops to help immigrants adjust to life in America presented in select community libraries as well as the Central Library. Programs are presented in English and in the major immigrant languages of Queens by lawyers, teachers, counselors and other professionals. Topics presented include immigration law, becoming a citizen, tenant’s rights, career planning, starting a business, parenting, education and health.
