Alzheimer’s Support Group (in Chinese)

This program is in Mandarin Chinese for those people caring for a person with Alzheimer’s or any of the other dementias. Our support group is a secure and safe place to share your experiences. An Interfaith Breakfast: Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Welcome to Coping Skills Informational Workshops

New Americans Program offers Copings Skills workshops: lectures and workshops to help immigrants adjust to life in America presented in select community libraries as well as the Central Library. Programs are presented in English and in the major immigrant languages of Queens by lawyers, teachers, counselors and other professionals. Topics presented include immigration law, becoming a citizen, tenant’s rights, career planning, starting a business, parenting, education and health.
