Teen Podcast Workshop

Learn how to create your own radio podcasts in this free workshop! Come along to polish your presenting skills, audio recording and editing skills, and learn how to produce a fun, engaging episode. Completion of this course gives you scholarship opportunities, enhances your resume, and can even get you started on the road to a rewarding career in broadcast journalism, audio engineering, news reporting or radio presenting. Youth Justice Court

Queens Library has partnered with Queens Law Associates, also known as QLA, to bring Youth Justice Court, a program for ages 12-19.  The program is currently available at the Queens Library for Teens in Far Rockaway and will be soon expand to Central Library and Cambria Heights.  This program will empower youths to become peer leaders both in school and in the community. Youth Leadership Council

Are you ready to make a difference? Join the Youth Leadership Council and make your voice heard! Queens Library is currently recruiting teens, ages 14-21, to join Youth Leadership Councils at Central Library, Flushing Library and the Teen Library at Far Rockaway. LEARN MORE


Cambria Heights Teen Center


The Cambria Heights Teen Center is a safe space for middle and high schoolers to complete homework, do research, participate in programs and leadership initiatives, and explore your creativity. It is located on the lower level of the Cambria Heights library. The space includes a gallery, self-checkout points, a meeting room, a technology area, and a recording studio. Approximately 80 – 100 teens visit the Center every day. LEARN MORE
