Discover Your City With Culture Pass!

Start planning your summer adventures! NYC’s libraries are making it easier for you to explore museums, public gardens, and other cultural attractions for FREE with your friends and family!

Queens Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library, and New York Public Library are excited to announce Culture Pass, a program for cardholding patrons ages 13 and older.

Using your library card, you can reserve a pass and get free admission to more than 30 cultural institutions across New York City, including the Queens Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Noguchi Museum, and many more.

To get started, visit the Culture Pass website and follow these steps:

1. Under “Reserve a Pass,” select your library system.

2. Log in to the Culture Pass reservation system using your library card credentials.

3. Browse for available passes by date, venue, or location. Each pass will offer free entry for either two or four people; please read the details carefully.

4. Make a reservation.

5. Retrieve your pass shortly before your visit. (Once you print or download your pass, you cannot cancel your reservation.)

There's a full list of participating organizations on the Culture Pass website, as well as a list of frequently asked questions. If you have other questions or comments, please let us know.

We hope you have fun discovering more about your city!

A full-service library card from Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library, or Queens Library is required to participate. E-cards and out-of-state cards will not be accepted. See the Privacy & Terms section for more information.

Culture Pass is made possible through generous support from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Charles H. Revson Foundation, The New York Community Trust’s Thriving Communities program, and The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
