Shakespeare in Queens: The Final Season

The play’s the thing at Queens Library! We're partnering with the award-winning TITAN Theatre Company to bring dramatic staged readings of Shakespeare’s plays to libraries across Queens.

As TITAN finishes three years of performing each of the 37 plays that Shakespeare wrote, they have saved some of the best for last!

"We knew we wanted to go big this year,” says Lenny Banovez, the Artistic Director of TITAN Theatre Company, on the Queens Library blog. “It has excited our actors and company to be able to bring these plays to community libraries in Queens, and I hope the audiences are as excited as we are.”

Season Three of Shakespeare in Queens continues with The Tragedy of Julius Caesar on Monday, March 5 at 5:30 p.m. at Forest Hills Community Library, at 108-19 71 Avenue.

Lenny Banovez will also give a Talking Shakespeare behind-the-scenes look at Timon of Athens, Cymbeline, and Julius Caesar, and discuss modern interpretations of these classic plays, on Monday, March 12 at 6 p.m. at Flushing Community Library, at 41-17 Main Street.
